“ Delicious early dinner. Tasty seafood platter. Bartender was courteous and patient. Tried new Scotch when I was there. Will be back soon. ”
“ In town for work. The location, and atmosphere are fantastic here. My second time here, first time I had the crab cakes. Which was good. Tonight I had the fish and chips. Good, but not hand battered or dipped. Windy was a great server! ”
“ First time I came to this place several years ago I was very disappointed. It tends to be hit or miss most of the time. But this particular visit was on point (for the most part). Service - no issues, waitress was lovely, helpful and attentive. Atmosphere - love their outdoor area right on the water and the live music they had set up. Weather was perfect on the day we were there (happened to manage to get a table on a First Friday!) just wish they might spray little more for bugs. But the fire pit area was also cool. Drinks - I wasn't drinking but my party ordered several and they seemed to be happy with what they got - rum and tequila focused. And - BONUS - that particular night there was a Patron promotion happening and some lovey lady was passing out tastings of a patron and watermelon drink. Weather was perfect and this just made the night better. Food - in this area there is hot competition for who makes the best crab cakes locally. In past visits, I've been disappointed with the crab meat to filling ratio but not this time! We had the mini crab bites for an appetizer because we wanted the crab dip but they had nothing available as a substitute to the pretzel sticks as a dipping mechanism. Maybe in the future making some options like carrots and/or celery would be nice to accommodate for dietary restrictions. One of our party had the soft shell crab special and said it was delicious. Two of us ordered the broiled seafood platters. One substituted salmon for mahi because she'd just had some at lunch. Unfortunately it was way over cooked. But she enjoyed the rest of the items - scallops, shrimp, mini crab cake. I - on the other hand - enjoyed my salmon and the crab cake but thought the scallops were blah and the shrimp were over cooked. Everything felt a little oily and unflavored to me - next time will ask for everything to be blackened. The steamed broccoli was good! Overall, this is a great option if you want to be on the water. But recognize that it is always going to be hit or miss on the food. ”
“ Good food in a beautiful setting. Large outdoor space along the water, as well as a well-seasoned indoor space. Plenty of cheerful, knowledgeable staff on hand. My family always enjoys a meal here. Try their Cream of Crab! ”
“ Although it has been some time since our last visit, we've been here a few times. Arrived around 2:30 on a beautiful Monday afternoon so we opted to sit outside. About a 5 minute wait. Started with a Draft Loose Canon IPA-like this not too hoppy IPA. Ordered some appetizers to share -Crab Dip and Seafood Potatoes. Both were very good. Also ordered the Cobb Salad with Shrimp-also very good. Service was friendly and engaged but a little slow at times. Enjoyed the outdoor area and view of the Susquehanna. ”
